Do your bags have laptop and/or iPad sleeves?

Laptop/tablet compatibility is indicated in our product descriptions. For example, the Mercator 16L description reads: “Cushioned sleeve for large laptop (up to 15”).” In summary, many of our bag styles such as the Mercator, Humboldt and Lambert have laptop sleeves, but some of our other styles, for example Tharp, do not.

What is the warranty on your products?

Our products carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. If for whatever reason you're not satisfied with your Cecilia product, you may return it for a full refund. Exclusions include abuse, loss and damage caused by hungry dogs. Damage from normal wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable price.

How do I file a warranty claim?

To initiate a warranty claim or return please email info@shopcecilia.com with complete details, product model, your name, address and telephone number and the reason for the claim.

Are your products made in the USA?

Some are. Currently our bags are made in China under carefully monitored fair and ethical working conditions. Some of the camera straps such as the Mirrorless Straps are made in New York.

Where do you source your materials?

We globally source only the highest quality materials from the raw leather all the way down to the thread. Quality in design, materials, and construction are our top priorities.

Are any of your bags water resistant?

Most of our bags are water resistant, but not completely waterproof. We would not recommend staying outside in heavy rainfall. Our backpacks include a rain cover to protect against heavy exposure to rain, snow or children with ice cream cones.

Can I wash my bag?

We recommend using water and a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergents, soaps, or vinegar. Do not machine wash leather bags. For more detailed information about leather care please contact us at info@shopcecilia.com.

What do I do if my bag is soaking wet?

Let the bag air dry at room temperature. Do not place the bag in a dryer or directly next to a heat source. Quickly drying leather can cause the leather to crinkle.

What are my shipping options?

We offer a variety of domestic and international shipping services through UPS and USPS. PO Boxes are only available for delivery via USPS. Expedited shipping is not available for personalization orders. All orders ship from our warehouse in New York.

Do you offer free shipping?

No, however we do offer free domestic returns on all orders!

Which countries do you ship to?

International shipping is currently available WORLDWIDE. The only exceptions are countries and territories that are sanctioned or restricted by the US Government.

How can I check the status of my international order?

When your order ships an automated email is sent to the email you provided in your order details. It includes tracking information so you can check the status of your shipment. Please be sure to provide the correct email address when ordering.

Why did I receive a bill for duties/taxes/fees?

Some international shipments may incur duties, taxes, and customs fees. Please note that the shipping charges on our website do not include these fees. You can find more information about customs and duties fees at your local customs office.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment from all major credit card companies, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal, and Afterpay.

About how long does it take before my order is shipped?

In stock items ship same day or next day. Personalized orders may take up to two weeks to ship.

Do you make bags or straps from exotic animal leather like zebra or snake?

No, we do not use leather from exotic animals like zebra or snake. All of our leather comes from cowhides and are a byproduct of the meat industry.

Do you restore leather products made by other manufacturers?

No, we do not restore leather products made by other manufacturers. If your Cecilia product needs repair please contact us at info@shopcecilia.com.
